From our beginnings as Roebuck Park Baptist Church, to our relocation to Trussville, to the expansion of our campus, every major step in our history has been made possible by people who prayed, sacrificed, and invested in future generations. Because of their faithfulness, countless lives have been changed through the gospel.
Today, we believe God is calling us to take another step of faith. NorthPark currently invests approximately $63,000 each month toward our building debt. While we are grateful for the facilities God has provided, we believe the time has come to position our church for even greater ministry impact.

Our Primary Goal: $1.5 Million
Our first goal is to raise an additional $1.4 million by the end of 2029. Achieving this goal will allow NorthPark to retire our remaining debt and become completely debt-free by 2030. At that point, NorthPark will immediately double our missions giving from 10% to 20% of our undesignated offerings.
Today, approximately $320,000 is invested annually in missions. By becoming debt-free and increasing our commitment to 20%, that investment would grow to more than $640,000 each year. Imagine the impact.

Our Second Goal: $2 Million
If God provides beyond our primary goal and our church pledges and gives $2 million, NorthPark will not only become debt-free by 2030 and double our missions giving, but we will also immediately complete Phase One of our Community Park project. We will build the park in phases without incurring more debt. This phase will create new opportunities for fellowship, recreation, outreach, and ministry to families throughout our community.
Our Third Goal: $2.5 Million
If our church family pledges and gives $2.5 million, North Park will become debt-free by 2030, double our missions giving, and complete Phases One and Two of the Community Park project. These improvements will expand our ability to serve our community, host ministry events, strengthen relationships, and create additional opportunities to connect people to Christ.

What is Forward in Faith?
Forward in Faith is NorthPark Baptist Church's vision initiative to position our church for even greater gospel impact in the years ahead. It is much more than a debt retirement campaign.

Why now? Why accelerate paying off the debt?
Paying off the debt 24 months earlier will save interest, and that is good stewardship. However, saving interest is not the primary reason for Forward in Faith. The greater reason is that reducing our debt increases our capacity for ministry. Every dollar that is no longer committed to debt payments can be redirected toward missions, discipleship, outreach, and ministry.
We also recognize that we do not know what opportunities God will place before NorthPark in the future. Throughout Scripture, God often prepared His people before the opportunity arrived.
