Wiley Edwards
Minister to Students
Wiley Edwards has served as the Minister to Students of NorthPark since May of 2020. Prior to serving on staff at NorthPark, Wiley spent seven years as a basketball coach and teacher at the high school level. He loved what he did, but knew that God was calling him into vocational ministry. God opened the door for Wiley at NorthPark. Now, Wiley gets to continue doing what he loves to do: encouraging and equipping students to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Wiley graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013, and is currently enrolled at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he is pursuing a Masters of Divinity. Wiley has been married to his wife, Emily, for seven years and they have three children: JW, Gaines, and Blakely. Wiley enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball and golf, and writing.
