Evan Smith is the Associate Worship Minister at NorthPark, and has been serving in the position since August, 2021. He has a passion for global missions and student ministry alongside worship. He heavily values the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19 to make disciples and believes that worship ministry is the vessel through which the Lord is working in him to achieve this goal both in NorthPark and around the world.

Evan has a degree from the University of Alabama in Finance and a concentration in Banking and Financial Services. He is married to Karleigh, who is Evan’s biggest supporter in both life and ministry. Karleigh has an overwhelmingly gentle heart and deeply cares for all people for the sake of the Gospel. She is set to graduate from UAB’s Nursing program in the fall of 2023, and then plans to pursue further education to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Together, Evan and Karleigh enjoy watching sports, listening to music, and collecting vinyl records. They treasure getting to babysit and play with Karleigh’s two adopted sisters, Stella and Everly, as well as Evan’s niece, Brynleigh.
